Unissued M18A1 Claymore Bag

This is the issue carry bag built for the M18A1 Claymore antipersonnel mine, introduced in 1960 and one of the most widely recognized pieces of ordnance in American military history thanks to its frequent appearances in film and games. The bag was designed to keep the mine, its detonator, and firing wire organized and ready to grab as one unit rather than loose gear rattling around a pack.

Construction includes a shoulder strap and two separate compartments to keep the mine separated from its wiring and detonator. Collectors have used these as genuine Vietnam-era militaria display pieces, since the printing and markings on some bags reflect their original historical production.
